I will preface my reply with the fact that I do not yet have a VTR but it is on my short list of mods to get and Matt may have more hands on info once he gets settled back in from his travels. Because of the fact that I am a gadget/gear nut, I have been looking in to this very issue. What I have found is the efest 2000mah V1 (flat top) or V2 (button top) seem to be the go to batteries for the VTR. Since the VTR is VV/VW device you do not need a 30 amp battery so the 10 amp limit is not an issue. People have reported trying to go to the 2500 mah and having issues with the battery getting stuck in the device due to the higher mah making the battery just a hair larger. I personally would always recommend going with a quality name battery ie: efest, sony, aw, mnke, from a reputable seller. Some ebay sellers are selling knock off batteries and while clone mods are ok clone batteries are bad. Always remember you are holding a device that with a bad battery in it could vent gas or worse in your face and or hand. I would never use one of my trustfire or ultrafire 5000mah flashlight batteries in a mod. Now as I step off my soapbox I will have a Vape and quote Matt, Vape On!

I'd first like to say thank you to VapingKS for answering your question Personally, I use Efest 18650 2000mah Li-Mn batteries or I'll use my Sony VTC4 18650 2100mah batteries (I'll post a list of batteries on a different thread). But I personally heard some people using higher MaH batteries. I would stay with Sony VTC4's or Efest 18650 for you Innokin iTaste VTR. Hope that helped and Vape On!

I vouch for the Efest 18650 2000 mah battery. I have it in my VTR and it was the recommended battery for the device when I purchased it. You'll really enjoy your VTR!
