Ok I have a question. I will be receiving a rocket atomizer ( kayfun clone ) in the mail in a couple of days and I was wondering if it would be safe to use on a MVP v2 since that's is the only mod I own? Also what would the best coil build be for it so I can cloud chase?

Welcome psychoracer, You can safely use the Kayfun clone on your MVP v2 without issue. The MVP v2 is not the best for true cloud chasing but you will still be able to get good vapor production. What you need to keep in mind is the MVP has an amp limit of around 3 amps. This means that your coils need to be no lower than around 1.7 ohms in Voltage mode and 1.3/1.4 in Wattage mode. These numbers are based on hitting 2.9 amps to be just under the limit. Anything lower than these numbers will still fire, down to .9 or 1.0 ohms (some have even fired at .8 ohms) but you will not get the optimum use of your coil.
If you do not yet have one I would strongly suggest you get a multimeter similar to what Matt has shown in his videos or an ohm meter with a 510 connector.

Built my first rda today. Wantedbthe simplest, plainest onebi could find, and the igo-l was only 12 bucks(hoosier vapes) so I got it and figured if I didnt like it then not much lost. Well, I will be getting more of these, and some others also. Didn't think id like dripping over and over, but its not bad at all! Great flavor, and I'm getting the most vapor I've gotten yet, with protanks, iclears, carts, kayfun clone. Went with silica 2mm,30ga, and just wrapped the wick. Very basic, but man, performs well! Bout an hour after I got done Cabin Vapors (Matt) put out his rda vid lol. Still watched every min, always lookin fer clues. Cant wait to try some other builds, other rdas, and other rdas on other mods. Looking forward to learning more from others here on this forum. Im using a mvp2 so I've already learned a lil on amp limits and wattage/voltage settings(thank you KS). Thanks fer hearin my first rda build rant, if ur still here lol. Vape on guys!

Sounds like you have been full bit by the vape bug AntVapes. You will have a collection of mech mods and vv/vw devices in no time. Every purchase in life will be weighed against how it will impact your vape budget. Not to mention the never ending search for the best juice.

VapingKS is dead on about everything. The kayfun clone will vape well on your MVP v2 but its not gonna blow extreme cloud and I WOULDN'T dare trying sub-ohm coils on the MVP. Too much strain on the battery. I'll put a chart up about voltage, wattage, and amp safety. I always look forward to new mods and new ejuice! Vape On!

Woo hoo! My first dual coil build! Well, second try, but first I've built and vaped. I had bought an atty from a local shop, a smoke shop, he actually has some good products, but I've been eyeing this atty for a while, its a cheapy,16 bucks, and one of his lesser products. Its definitely a clone, gonna have to find out which one, it has a ring in the center to adjust air, then screw down the top to tighten it where you want the air at. It has two holes, so I can switch from one to two holes, and variations of the two. Maybe somebody knows what that is, sorry very basic explanation. But anyways, I used 32ga,11 wraps, and got 1.7 which is a lil higher than I wanted, but I want 1.5 so its no biggy to me. First one was 30 ga,7-8wraps(cant remember),and came out 0.7. Ouch! Im using a mvp. But today I tried and boom it worked out well. This is puttin my igo L to shame! Not a fair comparison though lol. Lookin forward to my next mod, workin my way(safely) up the steps of vaping.

I found it, its the Helio. Wait, Helios? One of the two. Fastech has it and it's pictured. I love it! I think I wanna get a trident as well, heard alot of good things.
